South Asian Dance Economics is a part of a major programme of work of research and development currently being undertaken by Kalwant Ajimal. Work is being carried out through various projects in an extensive, self funded programme.
A general programme of research and development from which this blog is derived can be seen at http://danceeconomics.wordpress.com
Details of the work programme can be seen in a different section on the left.
The entire programme has been devised by Kalwant Ajimal. He founded Asian Arts Access in 1989. During the last ten years he has been mainstreaming his work and also helping several clients to refocus and rebrand their work to address wide ranging audiences in the ‘main market’ for creative arts and culture in the United Kingdom. Much of this work is now being carried out by Mirador Cultural Economics and information on its work and links to various sites cam be seen in the Mirador blog. Please see http://miradorculture.wordpress.com
Kalwant Ajimal is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts and is now preparing to start work on a doctoral dissertation.
Kalwant Ajimal will be pleased to hear from readers, critics and advisers via email and via comments to this blog.
